Macklemore, the charismatic black stallion, is instantly recognizable by his unique combination of strength, elegance, and athletic ability. This makes him a pleasure to ride, and a true eye-catcher.

With an impressive height of 1.68 m (approx. 16.1 hh), Macklemore is a striking presence. Bred from our own breeding program, he descends from the promising combination of Murphy and Sir Camelot. His approval with the ICS highlights his excellent bloodlines and impressive pedigree.

Sir Camelot is a stately stallion known for his impressive presence, with offspring recognized for their excellent conformation.

Macklemore’s dam: Murphy (1.67 m)
Murphy is an exceptional premium + star mare, with a gentle character and a strong will to perform. She has proven herself as an outstanding broodmare, producing offspring that excel in sport.

Character

Besides his impressive height of 1.68 m (16.1 hh), Macklemore is renowned for his friendly nature and golden heart. Calm and always willing to work, he is a true gentle giant with a temperament that matches his stature.

Appearance & Performance

Macklemore is a heavier type with an athletic build. He possesses three excellent and expressive gaits, is supple, long-lined, and flexible. He currently competes at M2 level, and even a jump poses no difficulty. His inspection scores include eights, nines, and even a 9.5 for his neck and mane & tail. Macklemore is a promising stallion with a bright future in both sport and breeding.

Offspring

Macklemore already has a few offspring from mares between 1.50 m and 1.60 m. These foals already display his movement, looks, and willingness to work from a young age.

Health & Testing

• PSSM1-free: Macklemore is free from the genetic condition PSSM1, ensuring his health and that of his offspring.

• Radiographically approved: Macklemore has a fully clean health report, free of any radiographic abnormalities.

• Semen quality: His semen has been tested and approved by veterinarians, ensuring a high success rate for insemination.

Breeding Season 2026 Conditions (Frozen Semen Only)

By reserving semen, the mare owner agrees to the following conditions.

Availability

Frozen semen is available worldwide, subject to availability and planning.

We do not sell individual straws. Breeding is offered per pregnancy only, ensuring commitment to quality outcomes.

The stallion owner reserves the right to decline a booking.

Required Information

To confirm your reservation, we require:

• Mare’s name + pedigree or passport copy
• Owner’s full contact details (name, address, email, phone)
• Delivery address of your veterinarian or certified reproduction center

Registration with the studbook remains the responsibility of the mare owner.

Investment

Stud fee: €750 (excl. VAT).
Shipping is arranged worldwide and charged per shipment, depending on destination and logistics.

Live Foal Guarantee

Each breeding includes a live foal guarantee.

If the foal does not survive beyond 24 hours, the same mare may be bred again the following season at no additional stud fee (excluding shipping and veterinary costs), valid for up to 2 seasons.

Pregnancy Loss

In case of pregnancy loss, rebreeding is possible the following season under the same conditions (excluding additional costs), valid for up to 2 seasons.

Procedure & Responsibility

All semen is shipped to licensed veterinarians or certified reproduction centers.

All transport and use of semen is at the mare owner’s risk.

Use is strictly limited to the registered mare.

Foals must be reported. Failure to do so may result in a €1,500 fine per foal (excl. VAT).

We are happy to assist your veterinarian with planning and timing to ensure optimal results.
